The pavement on Salters Hill, by the railway bridge, is often flooded by water coming off the bank. This makes the path dangerous, as pedestrians might slip and fall on to the road. Back in March, we demanded that the Council fix this problem. We have now received a reply from council officers…

There is a serious flooding problem near the railway bridge on Salters Hill.
Water is draining from the embankment onto the pavement, making the footpath dangerous for pedestrians.  We are working to get it fixed.
We have insisted that the council investigate who is responsible for fixing this problem and will keep local residents informed of progress.   [...]
