Vote now! Let’s clean up Gipsy Hill Station

The green space next to Gipsy Hill station is in line for a clean up
The land to the side of Gipsy Hill Station is overgrown and littered. We have a chance to have it tidied up – but it requires your vote.
“Community Payback” is demanding work, carried out by offenders in the community. It is more constructive than a prison sentence, both for the minor offender and society at large. Members of the public can have their say on where offenders will be working and the kind of work they will be doing. Five projects have been nominated in Lambeth – one of which is a clean-up of the Gipsy Hill Station surroundings.

In the meantime there is to be a major Council-led clean-up of Gipsy Hill on Friday 17th April. We have asked officers to tidy this area, including the games area on the Mountbatten Estate and the small green between the station and Alexandra Drive.
