Licensing review for Dyjarn’s on Crystal Palace Parade

Lambeth's noise patrol team has 'strongly recommended' revoking the premises license for Dyjarn's
Lambeth Council’s noise patrol team has ’strongly recommended’ revoking the premises license for Dyjarn’s Music Bar & Restaurant (13-14 Crystal Palace Parade) on the ground of public nuisance after its owners repeatedly breached the conditions of their license.
There have been problems with excessive noise nuisance for more than two years and Suzanne has supported residents living in nearby residential strret who regularly experienced excessive level of noise late at night. Between September 2007 and August 2009, 27 noise complaints were received by Lambeth’s noise patrol team and an abatement order was served on the owners, but the situation has not improved.
The Council has decided to prosecute the owners for the unacceptable noise levels and seek a revocation of the license because officers “have no faith in the owner of the Bar to continue to run the business in a responsible manner that would statutory noise nuisance to the neighbouring residents.”
